If a digital source is selected:
After the recording process, the CD recorder
stops automatically.
If an analogue source is selected:
At the end of the recording process, the CD
recorder stops after a silence of 20 seconds on
the source material.
To stop recording manually, press Çon the
system.
Note:
– Recordings from DAT, DCC or DVD will
automatically stop after 20 seconds of silence.

Manual recording

Follow step 1–2 of "Synchro start recording".

Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select :
"AUX MANUAL?" : for manual start
recording.

Press YES to confirm.
"PREPARING" is displayed, followed by
"RECORD?" and the remaining recording time of
the CDR(W).
To set the optimal recording level (refer to
"Adjusting the record level").

To start recording, start playback the external
source and press YES simultaneuously.

To stop recording, pressÇ on the system.
"UPDATE" is displayed.
Note:
– If "CHECK INPUT" is flashing, check the digital
connection.

Finalising CDR(W) disc

After recording, the CDR(W) disc has to be
finalised in order to :

for CDRW – play on a CDRW compatible CD
Notes:
– Finalising will take about two minutes.
– During finalisation, no other operating
commands can be executed.
– When a CDR has been finalised, no more
recordings can be added.

Auto finalising

When using the COPY CD recording function,
your recordings will be finalised automatically.

Manual finalising

Insert the CDR(W) you want to finalise in the
CD recorder tray.

Press FINALIZE CD.
"FINALIZE?" is displayed.

Press YES to start finalising.
FINALIZE
