Removing The Optical Drive & Heat Plate - NEC VERSA P600 Disassembly Manual

1. Remove the screws as shown in Fig. 8
Note: The screw "A" located on the hard disk slot cover holds the hard disk drive and the keyboard.
2. Carefully lift up the keyboard.
3. Release the keyboard FPC cable as shown in Fig. 9 and put the keyboard aside

To remove the optical drive & heat plate, first remove the keyboard cover (see
