Temporary Switchover to Tone Dialing

If your Gigaset 1054 has a tone dialing connection, then the following does not apply to
you.
If your Gigaset 1054 has a pulse dialing connection (DPS), you can switch your Gigagset 1054
temporarily from DPS to tone dialing (DTMF) during a call.
By switching the dialing mode from pulse to tone dialing, you can use the dialpad of your tele-
phone to enter information during a call, for instance to query an answering machine or voice
mailbox or to use services of the German Telekom AG such as, for example "City Call" or "Scall" .

Push these keys to switch to tone dialing.

Hang up the handset,
The connection is terminated.
The phone reverts to pulse dialing.
Note:
After terminating the call, tone dialing is automatically deactivated.
