9.12.6 Change the 4-Digit Remote Access PIN

Your phone lets you check your messages, or otherwise operate your
answering machine, by calling the answering machine when you are away
from home and then dialling a 4-digit remote access PIN from a tone-dialling
phone.
The 4-digit remote access PIN code is used to prevent other people from
unauthorised access of your answering machine.
1. Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to select ANS. MACHINE.
2. Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to select TAM SETTING.

Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to select CHANGE PIN.
The current PIN is shown, with the first digit flashing. Enter your new

4-digit PIN, using the main digit keys (1-0), with the display changing
as each digit is entered.
Press <MENU/OK> to confirm the change.

9.12.7 Reset TAM to Default Settings
You can reset your answering machine to the default settings, without
deleting any messages.
1. Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to select ANS. MACHINE.
Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to TAM SETTING.

Press <MENU/OK> and <UP/DOWN> to TAM DEFAULT.
4. Press <MENU/OK> and the display will show
the system PIN code. (Default is 0000)
Press <MENU/OK> to restore the TAM settings to default.
