Weights
The kerb weight includes the driver, the fuel
tank 90 % full and all fluids. The weight of
passengers and accessories, such as a tow-
bar, towball load (when a trailer is hitched,
see table), load carriers, and space box etc.
influence the payload and must not be in-
cluded in the kerb weight. Permitted weight
(in addition to driver) = Gross vehicle weight–
Kerb weight.
WARNING
The car's driving characteristics change de-
pending on how heavily it is loaded and how
the load is distributed.
