• the connection state of each of the first 5 registered users
An empty box ( ) before the account indicates that the registration
process is in progress. A phone symbol ( ) means that the account is
successfully registered. A black colored phone symbol ( ) means that the
account is successfully registered and the line is the active SIP line for
outgoing calls. A box with a cross ( ) signals an unsuccessful registration
attempt.

Dialing

There are two methods to begin a call from the idle state of snom
100. Either you can start dialing with the handset resting in the cradle
and then pick it up. Or pick up the handset and then dial the number. In
the latter case you will have to press Enter to indicate that the number is
complete and dialing can commence.
The snom 100 shows the current communication status at the
display.

Input Modes

Dependent on the context various types of inputs are possible.
The active input mode is indicated on the lower right corner of the
display:
123
Only digits can be entered.
+-123
Only digits can be entered. Change the
sign with * or # key.
ABC
Upper Case Mode. By pressing * lower
case mode can be toggled.
abc
Lower Case Mode. Use * to activate upper
case mode.
IP4
IP address mode, only digits can be
entered.
