Before using the appliance for the first
time the water inlet pipe should be
purged of air by a qualified and
competent person.
– To do so the stainless steel hose
should be filled as far as possible
with water before being connected to
the appliance.
– Mop up any spillages with a cloth.
^ Place the stainless steel hose in the
building-in niche as shown, and
secure to the floor with adhesive
tape.
This ensures that the hose does not
slip or get caught when the
appliance is pushed back into the
niche.
^ The appliance can now be installed
in the niche (see "Installation").

Fitting the stainless steel hose
to the appliance
When fitting the stainless steel hose,
make sure that it is neither kinked
nor damaged.
^ Remove cap a from the water
connection at the front of the
appliance.
^ Screw coupling nut b on stainless
steel hose c onto the threaded
union.
^ Ensure that all connections are
watertight.
^ Turn on the stopcock slowly and
check the whole water system for
leaks.
^ The appliance can then be
connected to the electricity supply.
After a maximum of 10 hours the first
ice cubes will drop out of the ice
cube maker and collect in the
container.
