too few or misshapen ice cubes.
^ Check whether there is sufficient
water pressure. The water pressure
(flow rate) must be between 1.72 and
8.25 bar.
^ Check whether the temperature in the
freezer section is too low.
^ Replace the water filter.
. . . water is pouring out of the
appliance.
^ Close the stopcock immediately.
^ Check whether the water pipework
inside the appliance is damaged. If it
is, call the Miele Service Department.
^ Check whether there is sufficient
water pressure.
^ Check whether the non-return valve
was fitted correctly.
. . . "_F" and "121" appear alternately
in the temperature display.
The ice cube maker is not connected to
the mains water supply.
^ Check whether the appliance is
correctly connected to a mains water
supply.
^ Check whether the water inlet is
open.
. . . another fault message with "_F"
appears in the temperature display.
There is a fault. Call the Service
Department.
Problem solving guide
. . . the interior light inside the
refrigerator section is not working.
Has the refrigerator door been left open
for too long? To avoid overheating, the
lighting switches itself off automatically
after approx. 5 minutes if the door is left
open. It will come on again after it has
cooled down sufficiently.
If it also does not come on when the
door is opened briefly, then the lighting
is defective.
^ Switch the appliance off by pressing
the On/Off rocker switch to the right
hand side underneath the control
panel.
^ Disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Switch off at the wall and
withdraw the plug from the socket, or
disconnect the mains fuse or remove
the screw-out fuse in countries where
this is applicable.
Top lighting
^ Hold the lamp cover at the front with
both hands and push it back.
^ Then lift the lamp cover forwards to
remove.
