If the cooling elements overheat:
The cooking zone cooling elements
can overheat if the appliance does not
have sufficient ventilation.
The overheating protection affects the
whole hob in one of the following ways:
– If the Booster function is operating it
will be shut down.
– On all cooking zones which are oper-
ating on power setting 9 , the 9 will
alternate in the display with the 8, i.e.
the cooking zone power level has
been reduced to setting 8
– All cooking zones switch themselves
off automatically and the displays all
show a flashing 0 .
Proceed as follows:
If a drawer is fitted directly under-
neath the hob, ensure that there is
sufficient space between the drawer
and its contents and the underside
of the appliance in order to ensure
sufficient ventilation for the hob.
If the overheating protection cuts in
again, call the Customer Service De-
partment.
