3. If you checked WAV (BWF), use the controller buttons to select and
confirm the desired Wav Format: fs/bit setting (bit depth and sampling
frequency), and stereo (Stereo) or mono (Dual Mono).
If you selected "176.4kHz/24bit" or "192kHz/24bit" for the fs/bit
setting, "Stereo" will automatically be selected.
If you checked MP2 or MP3, use the controller buttons to select and
confirm the desired MP2/3 bit rate: bps setting, and stereo (Stereo) or
mono (Mono).
If you checked DSDIFF, DSF, or WSD, a sampling frequency of
2.8224MHz with stereo will be specified.
4. When you have finished setting the recording format, press the MENU
button to return to the menu list screen, and then press the MENU but‐
ton once again to return to the meter/counter screen.
Adjusting the recording input level
Here is how to adjust the recording level. The MR‐2 enables you to adjust
the gain manually ("Manual") or automatically according to the input
level ("Auto"). When the MR‐2 is shipped from the factory, this parameter
is set to "Manual." If you want to adjust the microphone sensitivity, set
the low cut parameter for the input signal, or select the "Auto" level func‐
tion and adjust detailed settings, refer to "Modifying the recording
parameter settings" on page 20.
