The water filter cartridge is located in the back upper fight corner
of tile refiigerator compartrrlent.

Replacement I ndicator Light
There is a replacement in(ficator light fi)r the water filter cartridge
on tile dispenser. Tiffs light will tm'n orange to tell }on that _ou
need to replace the filter soon.
The filter cartridge should be replaced when the rei)lacement
indicator light turns red or if"the flow of water to tile dispenser or
icemaker decreases.
When to Replace the Filter on Models Without a
Replacement I ndicator Light
The filter cartridge should be replaced e_ery six monthsor earlier
if the tlo_ of water to the water dispenser or icemaker decreases.
Removing theFilterCartridge
If you ax_ retxlaeing the cartridge, iix_t remove the old one b_
sloMy turning it to the left. Do n0t pull do_x on flxe cartridge.

Installing the Rlter Cartridge
If you are re )lacing a
SmartWatercmlridge
with an adapter,
it must be removed
befbx_ installing the
cartridge. To remo_e
the a(tapteg turn it to
the left about 1/4 turn.
If you are Tel)lacing,
With ada)ter Withoutadapter
(appearance may vary)

Culligan cartridge, leave the adapter in place. This
adapter _dll sta_ in the refiigemtor, when you, Tel)lace thmre
cartridges.
On models xdthout a replacement indicator light, aplxl_ the
month and _ear sticker to the new camidge to remind }on to
replace the filter in six months.
