Removable Oven Bottom
Fhst remove the sheh'es fiom the oven.
The oven bottom Liftsflom the flont.
Toremove:

On models so equipped,
remove
die Mmrled screw in die fiont of tile
ovexl
bottotll.
2--7 Grasp each side of die oven bottom
and push it back.

Lit* the fiont up and pull it out of
die oven.
Toreplace:

(;rasp each side of die oven bottom
and guide its rear robs into the slots
in the back of the oven.
Lower the oven bottom and pull it
forward until it is secure under the
flont oven floor edge.

On models so equipped, replace the
knurled screw in tile flont of tile
oven
bottom.
NOTE." If theovenbottomisreplaced incorrectly, it
maywarpandcause undesirable b akingresults.
Cleaning the Oven Bottom
Theovenbottomhasa porcelain enamel f inish.
To make cleaning easiex; protect the oven
bottom fiom excessive spillovers by
placing a cookie sheet on the shelf below
tlle shelf you are cooldng on. This is
pardc ularly important when baking a
fhflt pie or other foods with high acid
content. Hot fiuit fillings or foods that
are acidic in content, such as tomatoes
or sauerkraut, and sauces with vinegar
or lemon juice, may cause pitting and
damage to the porcelain enamel surfhce
and shoukt be wiped up immediately.
Toprotecttheoven bottomsurface, place
a piece of aluminum
foil slighdy larger
than the baking dish on the shelf below
to catch any boilovers. It should not
completely cover the shelf as this
woukt
cause
uneven
heat
in the
(wen.
Aluminum foil shouM not be placed
on
die
oven
bottoHl.
If a spillover does occur on die oven
bottom, allow the (wen to cool first. You
can clean the bottom with soap and
watex; a mild abrasive cleansex; soal>filled
scouring pads or an oven cleaner
fbllowing package directions.
Broiler Compartment
The broiler pan is held in place in the
broiler rack.
Toremovethebroilerpan:

Gendy pull fbrward on the drop
down broiler door
Pull the broiler rack with pan
forward undl tlle rack stops. Grasp
die broiler pan and remove it flom
the broiler rack.
Toreplacethe bm#erpan:

Slide tlle broiler pan onto tlle rack
and push b(nh tlle broiler pan and
die rack all the way into die broiler
compartment.
Close the broiler
door
If a spillover occm_ in die broiler
compartment,
allow the compartment
to
cool first. You can clean the compartment
with soap and watex; a mild abn_sive
cleansex; soap-filled
scouting
pads or an
oven cleaner
following
package
directions.
