End of tape encountered near the beginning of the tape.
Cause. BACKUP encountered the end-of-tape near the beginning of the tape. Either the tape is too
short, or there is a hardware problem in the tape drive, causing it to report the end-of-tape
prematurely.
Effect. BACKUP terminates.
Recovery. Use a longer tape. If this is not the cause of the problem, have the tape drive checked.

Tape verify encountered end-of-file where beginning/ending
volume label expected.
Cause. Either the VERIFYTAPE or VERIFYREEL option was used with BACKUP or RESTORE (LISTONLY).
The end-of -file was encountered where either the beginning or ending volume label was expected.
Effect. BACKUP or RESTORE terminates.
Recovery. Contact your service provider and provide all relevant information:
