Preparing a computer
(Windows)
You can perform fbllowing operations using
"PMB (Picture Motion Browser)."
-hnporting images to a computer
-Viewing and editing imported images
- Creating a disc
-Uploading movies and photos to websites
To saw, movies and photos using a
computer, install "PMB" from the supplied
CD-ROM beforehand.

• Do not lbrmat the media of your camcorder

• 5_u can create discs using 12 cm discs of
_bllowing type with "PMB2
- DVD R/DVD+R/DVD+R DL: Unrewritable
- DVD-RW/DVD+RW: Rewritable

Disk volume required for installation:
Approximately 500 MB (5 GB or more may
be necessary when creating DVD discs.)
Minimum 1,024 dots x 768 dots
×_Standard installation is required. Operation is
not assured if the OS has been upgraded or in a
nmlti boot environment.
.×264-bit editions and Starter (Edition) are not
supported. Windows huage Mastering API
(IMAPI) "V\,r.2.0or newer is required to use disc
creation function, etc.
.×3 S tarter (Edition) is not supported.
.×4 F aster processor is recommended.
Notes
• Operation with all computer environments is
not assured.
Install "PMB" befbre connecting your
camcorder to a computer.
_) Notes
• If a version of"PMB" under 5.0.00 has been
installed on ?,our computer, you may be
unable to use some functions of those "PMB"
when installing the "PMB" from the supplied
CDROM. Also, "PMB Launcher" is installed
fl'om the supplied CD-ROM and you can start
"PMB" or other software by using the "PMB
Launcher." DoubleMick the "PMB Launcher"
short cut icon on the computer screen to start
"PMB Launcher."
