When the installation iscompleted,
following icons will a ppear.
Remove the CD-ROM from your
computer.

_L: Displays "PMB Help."
{7": Displays "PMB Launcher." "PMB
Launcher" enables you to start "PMB"
or other software, or to open web sites.
• Other icons may appear.
• No icon may appear depending on the
installation procedure.

• To create discs or use other Iimctions on
Windows XR hnage Mastering API v2.0 fbr
Windows XP should be installed. If hnage
Mastering API v2.0 fbr Windows XP has not
been installed yet, select it fi'om required
programs on the installation screen and install
it Ibllowing the procedures displayed. (The
computer must be connected to the internet
Ibr the installation.) 5_u may install Image
Mastering API v2.0 fbr Windows XP in
response to the message displayed when you try
to start those functions.
To disconnect your camcorder from the
computer
@ (;lick the _;_ icon at the bottom right of the
desktop of the computer _ [SaMy remove
USB Mass Storage Device].
Notes
• Access from the computer using the supplied
software "PMBY Do not modify, the files or
Iblders on the camcorder fi'om the computer.
The image files may be destroyed or may not be
played back.
• When importing a long movie or edited image,
use the supplied soI}ware "PMB" If you use any
other software, images may not be imported
properl?c
• Operation is not guaranteed, if you perfbrm the
above operation.
• The maxinmm file size is 2GB. Should a file
exceed 2 GB, it will be dMded automaticall3c
Although the file may appear to be divided
when viewed on a PC, },our camcorder and the
"PMB" importing function will process the file
appropriatel3c
• When you delete image files, Ibllow the steps
on page 31. Do not delete the image files on the
camcorder directly f]com the computer.
• Do not copy the files on the recording
media fi'om the computer. Operation is not
guaranteed.
@ Touch [END] _ [YES] on the camcorder
screen.
@ Disconnect the USB cable.
