TOASTINGPAD
(UPPER OVEN ONLY)
For toasting bread and products that are
toastedin a toasteror toasteroven.
1. Pressthe TOASTINGpad.
2. PresstheAUTOSETpadto set4 minutes
of toastingtime. Eachadditionalpresswill
increasethetoastingtime by 10 seconds.
TOASTINGwill be displayed.
Or, pressthe appropriate numberpads
to set the toastingtime in minutesand
secondsbetween 10 secondsand 10
minutes.
Browningtime may vary, watchtoast-
ing carefullyto avoid over-browning.
3. TheAUTO SETtoastingtime (4 minutes)
can bechangedforyourconvenience.To
changetheAUTOSETtoasting time,press
TOASTING pad, enter the desiredtime,
then press and hold AUTO SET pad for
several seconds. The control will beep
and NEW AUTO SET ENTEREDwill be
displayed.
NOTE:TheAUTO SET time for TOAST-
INGcan beset from 3 to 10minutesor on
select models from 10 seconds to 10
minutes.
4. If the lower oven is operatingwhen the
TOASTINGpad is pressed,TOASTING
NOT AVAILABLE - LOWER OVEN IN
USEwill be displayed.
5. At the end of the set toasting time, the
displaywill read TOASTINGCOMPLETE
and beepfour times. One reminderbeep
will soundevery 30secondsfor 5 minutes
or untilCANCELpad is pressedor dooris
opened.
NOTE:For optimalresultswhentoasting4-5
piecesof bread or other similar items,follow
diagrambelowfor food placement.
KEEP WARM PAD

Forsafelykeepingfoodswarm or forwarming
breadsand plates.
1. PressKEEP WARM pad.
2. PressAUTO SET pad for 1700F or press
theappropriatenumberpadsfortempera-
tures between 1450and 1900F.
3. KEEP WARM and the temperature se-
lectedwill be displayedwhenthefunction
is active.
4. When warming is complete,press CAN-
CEL pad.Removefood from the oven.

Toastingis basedon time not tem-
perature.
Formoreevenbrowningresults,pre-
heat the oven 3-4 minutes.
I Toastingtimes will be shorter when
the oven is hot or when repeated
toastingfunctionsare done.
KEEP WARM
I Foroptimalfoodqualityand nutrition,
oven cooked foods should be kept
warmfor no longerthan 1to 2 hours.
| For optimal food quality and color,
foodscookedontherangetopshould
be kept warm for an hour or less.
I To keep foods from drying, cover
looselywith foil or a lid.
I To warm dinnerrolls:
- cover rolls looselywith foil and
place in upperoven.
- press KEEP WARM and
AUTO SET pads.
- warm for 12-15minutes.
I To warm plates:
- place2 stacksof up to four plates
each in the upperoven.
- press KEEP WARM and AUTO
SET pads.
- warm forfive minutes,turn off the
ovenand leaveplatesin the oven
for 15 minutesmore.
- use only oven-safeplates,check
with the manufacturer.
- do not set warm dishes on a cold
surfaceas rapid temperature
changescould causecrazing.
