When thedrive controlis releasedand in the disengaged"up"position,
the cabb shouldhavevery littb slack,It shouldNOTbe tight,
Checkthe adiustmentof the drivecontrolas fo[bws:
1, With thedrive controlreleased,pushthe snowthrowergently
forward,The unitshouldroll freely,
2, Engagethe drivecontroland gentlyattemptto pushthe snow
throwerforward,The wheelsshouldnotturn, The unitshouldnot
roltfreely,
8, With thedrive controlreleased,movethe shift leverbackand forth
betweenthe R2 positionand the F6 positionseveraltimes,There
shouldbe no resistancein the shift lever,
4, If anyof the abovetestsfailed, thedrive cabteis in needof adiust-
ment,Proceedas foIIows:
5, Loosenthe lowerhexnut on thedrivecablebracket,See Figure9,
6, Positionthe bracketupwardto providemoreslack (or downward to
increasecabletension),
7, Retightenthe upper hexnut,

The distancesnowis throwncan be ad}ustedby changingthe angleof
the chuteassembly,Todo so:
1, Stopthe engineby removingthe ignitionkeyand loosenthe plastic
wingknobfoundon the [eftsideof the chuteassembly,
2, Pivotthe chute upwardor downwardbeforeretightening the wing
knob,See Figure10,
