The"Speaker"functionallowsyouto select h owthe Projection

• Choose " Internal" if youwanttoplaytheProjection TV'ssound
throughthe its built-in speakers.
• Choose " Internal
Center
Channel"
:if you connecLed
your TV
to a surround
sound processor
and you want to use the TV_s
built-in
speakers
as center
channel
speakers.
• Choose "External"
if you connected
speakers
to the speaker
terminals
on the rear of the TV, or if you want to play the sound
of your TV through
an audio system.
The "Monitor
out" function
determines
:how the TV will send an
audio signal to an audio system
or home theater
receiver.
Your
choices are "Variable"
or "Fixed."
• If you choose "Fixed,"
the TV will send out an audio signal
at a
fixed volume level. The level will not c, h ange
when you adjust
the TV_s volume.
Use the controls
on your audio system to
adjust
the volume.
The "Fixed" settiing is most useful when you
can control the audio system's
volume with a remoLe control.
• If you choose "Variable,"
the TV's audio output
will change
when you change
the TV's volume.
:[f you use this setting
with
an audio system,
turn the TY's volume
all the way down, set the
audio system's
volume to an average
setting,
then turn the TV_s
volume up until you can hear the signal.

When adjusting
the audio
functions,
you can use the buttons
on the remote
control
or on the
control panel.

Press the AUDIO
button
repeatedly
until the function
you want to adjust
appears
on-screen.
(The functions
appear
at the center of the
bottom
of the screen.)
While the function
is still on the
screen, use the ADJUST
buttons
to adjust
its setting.
O
The fanctions
will disappear
from the screen afLer a few
seconds.
(You cannot adjust
a
function
if it is not on the
screen.)
