Clock controlledbakingis not recom-
mendedfor bakeditemsthat requirea
preheatedoven,such as cakes,cook-
ies and breads.
The clock mustbe functioning and
correctlyset.
Clock Controlled Oven Cooking is usedto
turn the oven off at a presettime of day or
delay the start and then turn off the oven.
This feature can be used with either oven
cookingor self-cleaning.See page 13for in-
structions on delayingthe start of a clean
cycle.
IMMEDIATE START:
Oven turnson immediately and automatical-
ly turns off at a presettime.
DELAYED START:
Delaysthe start of cooking or cleaningand
automaticallyturns off at a presettime.
Cook time can be set for up to 11 hoursand
59 minutes(11:59).
If more than 30 seconds elapse between
pressing a function pad and pressing the
appropriatenumber pads, the oven is NOT
set and display will return to the previous
display.
SETTINGTHE CONTROLS
TO STARTIMMEDIATELY ANDTURNOFF
AUTOMATICALLY:
1. Pressthe Bakeor Convect Bake pad.
> BAKEwill flash and 000 and theoven
icon _
will appearin the display.
> When convectioncooking is selected,
a fan icon _
will appear in the dis-
play.
2. Press the Preset (0) pad to set 350°F.
Whenconvectioncooking,325°Fwillau-
tomaticallybe set. Or, press the appro-
priatenumberpads for the desiredoven
temperature.
3. Pressthe Cook Time pad.
> COOKTIMEwill flash and 0HR:00will
light in the display.
4. Pressappropriatenumberpadsto enter
cooking hoursand minutes.EXAMPLE:
If cooking time selected for baking is 2
hours and 30 minutes, the display will
show:
5. At the end of the clock controlledcook
time, theoven will shut off automatically.
"End" will light in the display and four
beepswill be heard.
6. PressCANCELpad. Removefoodfrom
the oven. If the programis notcanceled,
therewill be one beep every30 seconds
for five minutes.
NOTE: If you wish to changethe beeps
at the end of clock controlled cooking,
see page 7.
TO DELAYTHE STARTAND TURN OFF
AUTOMATICALLY:
1-4. Followprecedingsteps 1-4.
5. Press Stop Time pad. STOP TIME will
flash in the display.
Display will show the calculated stop
time based on the current time of day
and the cook time previouslyentered.
6. Press the appropriatepadsto enter the
time you wishthe oven to stop. A stop
time canonly be acceptedfor laterin the
day. EXAMPLE: If at 10:00you set the
ovenfor 350°Fand 2 hoursand 30 min-
utes of cookingtime, the calculatedstop
time would be 12:30.
> If you want the stop time to be 1:30,
press the numberpads "1,3,0". Four
seconds later, the display will show
1:30 along with the indicator words
DELAY, S TOPTIME.
7. At the end of the delayed period, the
DELAYindicatorword will go off and the
ovenwill begin to heat.At the end of the
Cook Time, the oven will shut off auto-
matically,"End" will light in the display
and four beepswill be heard.
8. Press CANCELpad. Removefood from
theoven. If the programis not canceled,
therewill be a beepevery30 secondsfor
five minutes.
It is not necessaryto set a start time.
Control will determine when to start
the ovenbasedon cook time set.
