Place oven racks on proper rack posi-
tions. (See page 10.)
PressBake or Convect Bake pad.
> BAKEwill flash in the display.
> 000 and the ovenicon[_
will light in

Whenconvectioncookingis selected,
a fan icon _
will alsoappear.
Press the Preset (0) pad to set 350°F
automatically. When convection cook-
ing,325°Fwill be automatically set when
Preset (0)is pressed. Or press the ap-
propriate number pads for the desired
oven temperature.
>The temperature can be set from
100°Fto 550°E
> Therewill be a four seconddelay be-
fore oven turns on. When the oven
turnson:
- The bake icon (top and bottom
bars)will light.
- A red preheatindicatorwill light.
- 100°For theactualoventempera-
turewill appearin the display.
- Whenconvection cooking,the fan
iconwill begin to rotate.

The temperaturein the displaywill in-
creasein 50 increments until the oven
reachesthe presettemperature.
Allow 8-15 minutesfor the oven to pre-
heat.
>A single beep will indicate that the
ovenis preheated.
> The preheatindicatorwill turn off.
5. Checkcookingprogressat the minimum
cookingtime. Cook longer if needed.
6. Press CANCEL pad and remove food
from oven.
> Time of day will reappear in the dis-
play.
NOTE: If you forget to turn off the oven, it
will automaticallyturn off at the end of 12
hours. Todeactivate this feature,see page
8.

Convect Bake pad and the appropri-

tween pressing a function pad and
pressinga numberpad,thedisplaywill
returnto the previous display,
II As a general rule, when convection
baking, set the oven temperature
25°F lower than the conventional
recipe or prepared mix directions.
Baking time will be the same to a
few minutes less than directions.
II Whenroastingmeatsusingthecon-
vection setting, roastingtimes are
generally 25-30% less.
(Maintain
conventional r oasting temperatures.)

II You may find that the cooking times
and temperaturesvary slightly from
your old oven. This is normal. Every
ovenhas its owncharacteristics.

operations,you may hear a "popping"
sound when the oven burner cycles.
