• Checking engine oil
Removeengineoildip stickcap (1).
Checkoil levelon dipstick. Addoil
if below3/4full. Referto page13 for
correctengineoiltype.
° Changing engine oil
Todrain oldengineoil, place catch
basinunderengineand unscrew
drainplug (2) locatedon bottomleft
sideof engine. Drainengineoil into
propercatchbasin. Disposeof oil
properlyat oil reclaimfacility.
° Cleaning oil filter
Drainengineoil per instructions above.
Removeoil filter plug (2) locatedat bottom
rightside of engine. Remove screenfilter
(3) from springassembly. Cleanscreen
with solvent. Re-install f ilter and refillwith
0.5qt. oil. Referto page13 for correctengine
oiltype.
CAUTION
Neverstarttheenginewhenthere is
insufficient lubricating oil. Otherwise,
it will causeharmto theengine.
