Do not remove any parts from the cooktop until they have completely cooled and are safe to handle.

The cooktop is designed to make cleaning easier. Because the gas burner are sealed,
cleanups are easy when spillovers are cleaned up immediately.
Cleaning
the grates
IMPORTANT
o Forpropergas flow and ignitionof the burners-- DO NOTallow spills, food, cleaning agents or any
other material to enter the gas orifice opening.
o The cooktopis notremovable.Do notattemptto removeor lift the cooktop.
z_ CAUTION
• Toavoid possibleburns usecarewhencleaningthe cooktop.DO NOT attemptto cleanthe cooktop
wheneverthe cooktopor burner headsare still hot.
• To avoidpossibleburns DONOT attemptanyof thefollowingcleaninginstructionsprovidedbeforeturning
OFF all of the surfaceburnersand allowthem to coot.
• To avoidpossibleburns DONOT attemptto operatethe surfaceburnerswithoutthe burner caps.
The burner grates are dishwasher safe and may be cleaned in the dishwasher. Remove
any excessive soils before placing in the dishwasher.
Your appliance is shipped with the burner heads and burner caps in the correct locations.
Before using your gas appliance be sure to:
• Follow installation instructions before operating.
• Remove all packing tape from cooktop area.
