You can add more disk chassis in the order shown in
(#8). Your HP support representative can add disk chassis and disk drives online without interruptions
to applications or hosts. Additional details about each rack follow.

Primary rack expansion

In addition to the basic disk chassis (R0), you can expand the disk array in the primary rack as follows:
Add one 60-disk chassis (R1) to the top space of the primary rack (#4). This provides a total of
120 drives.

Secondary rack

You can add a second 19-inch rack (#6) with additional disk units as follows:
Add one 60-disk chassis to the second rack for a total of 180 drives (#7)
Add a second 60-disk chassis to the secondary rack for a total of 240 drives (#8)

Dimensions and weights

Use the packaged values when determining delivery space and loading requirements and unpackaged
values during space and floor load planning. In the USA, most shipments use a special carrier process
in which frames are shipped without pallets, ramps, or cartons. In these cases, the packaged weight
is the unpackaged weight plus 23 kg (50 lb).

Component weights

The following table provides approximate weights of additional disk array components. The number
of disk drives is the main factor accounting for total weight of the disk array. Actual weight of the
array racks is the minimum rack weight plus the weight of all additional components.
