SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE

There are three different modes:
• Standby mode (StbY); in standby the compressor and pump are off but all the safety features are active
• Heating mode (HEAT)
• Cooling mode (COOL)
• Domestic hot water only mode (AS)
For example, to switch operation from StbY to COOL.
To change the operating mode, press and hold the mode
button for at least 2 seconds.
PS: The main display is set as RTC (current time).
A scroll menu will start flashing with the values StbY (stand-
by), HEAt (heat), COOL (cool) and AS.
Use the up and down buttons to select the desired operating
mode.
NOTE: If the unit is in COOL mode, the operating mode
selection menu will not show AS mode (domestic hot water
only).
To switch to AS mode from COOL operating mode, first
select HEAT, by pressing the set button.
Press the mode button again for 2 seconds and then use
the up and down arrows to select AS mode, and confirm by
pressing set.
Once having selected the operating mode, press the set
button.
The unit will automatically return to the main display and the
Stby LED, previously on, will now be off and the COOL LED
will be on.
For HEAT and AS mode, proceed in the same way.
