Using the on-screen bar:

The on-screen bar appears on the TV.
Press Cursor m,,-/< fo move 1_> fo in
the on-screen bar, then press ENTER.
The following pop-up window appears under the on-
screen bar.
Example: "ST" (stereo) is selected out of 3 audio
channels recorded.

Press Cursor v/A to select the desired audio
channel(s).
Each time you press the button, the audio channels
change.
4 PressENTER.
The pop-up window goes off.
To turn off the on-screen bar
Press ON SCREEN.
Playing from a specified
position on a disc
You can start playing a title, chapter, or track you specify.
You can also play a disc from the specified time.
When playing back a DVD disc, you can locate the chapter
number to be played from the on-screen bar.

1 Press ON SCREEN twice.
The on-screen bar appears on the TV.
2 Press Cursor I_/< to move _ to in
the on-screen bar, then press ENTER.
The following pop-up window appears under the on-
screen bar.

Press Number buttons (0-1 O) to enter the
desired chapter number.
Example:
To select chapter number 8: Press 8.
To select chapter number 10: Press 10.
To select chapter number 37: Press 3 then 7.
To correct a mis-entry
Repeat step 3 until the correct number appears in the
pop-up window.
4 PressENTER.
The system starts playback from the selected chapter.
To turn off the on-screen bar
Press ON SCREEN.
NOTES:
• The + 10 button is not used in this function.
• You can select up to the 99th chapter.
