This section explains advanced operations of DVD, Video CD, SVCD, and Audio CD playback using the remote control.

• [][][][] shows the types of discs the operation is available for.
• Before operating the DVD player from the remote control, press DVD to use the remote control for the disc operations.
• Turn on your TV, and select the correct input mode on the TV.
• If "Q "appears on theTV screen when pressing a button, the disc cannot accept an operation you have tried to do, or
information required for that operation is not recorded on the disc.

Using the on-screen bar
You can check the information of a disc while the disc is
loaded, and you can use some functions through the on-
screen bar.

Press ON SCREEN.
Each time you press the button, the on-screen bar appears
on the TV.

_: shows the current transfer rate (Megabits per second).
