Grasp the drum cartridge handle and
gently pull the old cartridge out of the
machine.

Remove the new drum cartridge from its packaging.

Insert the drum cartridge into the print
compartment, sliding it along the
guides.
Do not touch or allow other objects to
contact the drum (the green cylinder).
This may damage the drum. If
fingerprints, dust, or other
contaminants get on the drum, wipe it
gently with a clean cloth.
Exposure to light for more than several
minutes will damage the drum. Be sure
to insert the drum cartridge promptly
into the machine.
If you find it necessary to leave the
cartridge out of the machine for more
than several minutes, wrap the
cartridge in black paper.

Replace the toner cartridge and close the front cover and then the side
cover (see Steps 5 and 6 on page 18). When finished, reset the drum
cartridge counter as explained on page 19.
