To use the external flash only
Select --'_, then press 0. Press 0
again to exit the menu.
To use the external flash together with
the built-in flash
Select IN+_., then press O Press O
again to exit the menu.

Turn on the external flash.
• Set the mode diat to TTL-AUTO.
• Be sure to attach the flash to the camera
before turning the flash on
Select the flash mode by turning the control dial while
holding down

• If close-up pictures are overexposed, try using the built-in flash by
itself.
Note • When the built-in flash and the external flash are used together, the
buiIt-in flash is used as the compensating tight source This means
that if the amount of light from the externaI flash is insufficient
(beyond its working range), the resulting pictures may be
underexposed.
