If correct focus cannot be obtained

The frame in which you focus on a subject is different from the
frame in which you lock the exposure.

Subjects that are difficult to auto focus on
Under certain types of conditions, the auto focus may not work properly. If
this happens, focus on an object with high contrast at the same distance as
the intended subject (focus lock), recompose your shot and then take the
picture if the subject has no vertical lines, hold the camera vertically and
focus the camera using the focus lock function by pressing the shutter button
halfway, then return the camera to the horizontal position whiIe keeping the
button pressed hatfway and take the picture
If the subject still cannot be focused on, use the manual focus _L_"Manual
focus" (P95)
