OAfter use
Turn off tile power, close the monitor with it facing inside, and fit the tens cap
on the lens
If you do not intend to use the camera for a long period, remove the battery
OCleaning the camera

Turn offthe camera.([_ P.34)

Remove the battery (_ P.26). (If you are using an AC
adapter, unplug the AC adapter from the camera first
before removing the plug from the AC outlet.)

Exterior:
> Wipe gently with a soft cloth, ft the camera is very dirty, soak the cloth
in mitd soapy water and wring wee Wipe the camera with the damp
cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth If you have used the camera at
the beach, use a cloth soaked in ctean water and well wrung,
Monitor and viewfinder:
> Wipe gent_y with a soft cloth.
Lens
>Btow dust off the tens with a commercially availabie bIower, then
wipe gently with a lens cleaner
Card
> Wipe gentty with a soft, dry cloth
OStorage
• When storing the camera for extended periods, remove the battery, and
keep in a coot, dry place that is ventiIated wee
• Periodically, repIace the battery, and test camera functions.
/_,,, • Do not use strong soIvents such as benzene or alcohol, or
chemically treated cloth.
Note • Cleaning should be done only after the battery has been removed
