Ink has leaked on the platen.
White horizontal lines appear in the printed image.
Cause
The print head nozzles are
clogged.
One of the ink cartridges is
low on ink.
The MicroWeave option in
your printer driver is not
selected.
The Media Type setting in
your printer driver is
incorrect.
Wipe the area, shown below in blue,
inside the printer with a soft, clean
cloth.

Warning:
Be careful not to touch the gears inside the
printer.
What to do
Clean the print heads. See "Cleaning
the Print Heads" later in this chapter.
Check the control panel to confirm if
the B or A ink out light is flashing,
and replace the appropriate ink
cartridge.
Turn on MicroWeave or MicroWeave
and Super in your printer driver.
Make sure the Media Type setting
matches the type of paper loaded in
the printer.
