1. Connect the power cord that came with the camera to the battery
charger, then plug it into a power outlet.
2. Place the battery into the battery charger.

3. Take the battery out when the charge lamp turns off. After charging
the battery, unplug the battery charger's plug from the outlet.
Note:
❏ The charging time for the battery may differ depending on the temperature
or the battery's remaining charge.
❏ During charging, the red lamp indicates the following status:
On: Indicates the battery is charging.
Off: Indicates charging is complete or the battery is not fully seated
in the battery charger.

Inserting the battery

Your camera uses the lithium-ion battery (EU-85) provided. Only use
an Epson Li-ion EU-85 battery with the camera.
