O REDIAL NUMBERS FROM THE FAX MACHINE
1. Lift the handset to engage the line.
The display shows:

top right-hand corner.

5. To find the telephone number or name of the corre-
spondent you wish to call on the list of the last 20 unan-
swered incoming calls or on the list of the last 10 outgo-
ing calls, press the keys:

Once the number has been dialled, if the correspondent
is free, you can start talking.

O REDIAL NUMBERS FROM THE CORDLESS PHONE
1. To redial one of the numbers of the last 20 incoming
calls, press function key F1:
The display shows the list of unanswered incoming calls.
Or
To call one of the last 10 numbers dialled, press the key:
The display dhows the list of outgoing calls.
2. To find the telephone number or name of the person
you want to call on the list of the last 20 unanswered
calls or on the list of the last 10 outgoing calls, press the
upper or lower part of the key:
If you like, you can add the number displayed to the
phone book: in this case, press function key F3 (
and, starting from step 3, follow the procedure "To pro-
gram the phone book - To programme the phone
book from the cordless phone" in the "Transmis-
sion and reception operations" chapter.
3. To start dialling, press the key:
Having dialled the number, if the line is free, you can
start your conversation. The display of the cordless
phone shows the duration of the call.

1. During a telephone call, press the key:
The display shows:
All the cordless phones registered on the base will ring.
2. To transfer the call, replace the handset on its cradle.
3. As soon as a cordless phone answers the call, the dis-
play will show:
If nobody answers the transferred call, your fax ma-
chine will beep and the display will show "LIFT HAND-
SET": to resume the conversation with the external caller,
lift the handset.
If you want to transfer the call to a cordless phone and
answer the call yourself, for example, in another room,
having pressed the
its cradle and pick up the call on the cordless phone.

HAT DOCUMENTS CAN BE COPIED
As for transmission, copying requires the document to be
inserted in the automatic document feeder (ADF). Be-
fore making a copy, make sure that the document is correctly
inserted in the feeder and that it respects the characteristics
described previously (see the "Transmission" section).
Bear in mind however that for the copying function you
can only insert one sheet at a time in the automatic docu-
ment feeder (ADF). In addition, if no copies are made within
about two minutes, the fax will automatically unload the origi-
),
nal and return to stand-by mode.
