Recording Your Performance

The following sounds can be recorded.
• Internal sound of the Tyros4 (Keyboard parts (Right 1, Right 2, Right 3, Left), Multi Pad,
Song parts, Style parts)
• Input from a microphone (via the [MIC] jack)
Simple Recording

Set the desired Voice, Style, etc. for your recording.
For instructions on selecting a Voice, see page 33. For instructions on selecting a
Style and using auto accompaniment, see page 46.

Press the AUDIO RECORDER/PLAYER [REC] and [STOP] but-
tons simultaneously.
"NEW AUDIO" means that a new empty
audio file is to be created.

Press the [G] (SIMPLE) button then press the [G] (OK) button to
call up the Simple Recorder display.
This operation will create a new empty audio file named "S_Audio_***.WAV."

Before recording, check the recording levels on the REC MONI-
TOR meter by playing the Voice, Style, etc., and adjust them
accordingly by using the [6 ] buttons or sliders.
Adjust the control so that the volume doesn't constantly go into the "red" and light
up the indicator.

Press the [PLAY/PAUSE] button to start recording.
Immediately after this operation, start and record your performance.

NOTE
Input from the [AUX IN] jacks cannot be
recorded.
NOTE
Up to 80 minutes can be recorded con-
tinuously in a single recording opera-
tion.

NOTE
• Press the 6's [] and [] buttons
simultaneously to instantly reset the
recording volume to 90.
• If you call up a different display, press
the [SETTING] button to return to the
Simple Recorder display.
