Cause Long-size paper was printed in the Super Fine
mode at 1200 dpi.
Solution 1 Perform the following procedure.
1. Perform a soft reset.
2. Set [
print again.
Solution 2 Press [
printing. However, the page with which an error
has occurred is not printed.
Cause The waste toner container is full.
Solution Replace the waste toner container with a new
one.
Cause The waste toner container is not installed or
installed improperly.
Solution Set the waste toner container properly.
Cause A cover is open.
Solution Close the cover firmly. If the printer is not online,
press [
Cause You tried to perform color printing on
transparencies.
Solution Perform the following procedure.
1. Perform a soft reset.
- "Canceling a Job" (See p. 119)
2. Perform black and white printing or print on
paper other than transparencies.
Cause Paper of the size or type that cannot be fed from
the multi-purpose tray or paper cassette is
specified.
Solution 1 If a paper source is specified, press [
