Overview Overview Lexmark Accessibility Solution aids users with impaired or no vision, and those with physical disabilities, in the seamless operation of a multifunction printer (MFP). While the application does not duplicate the full range of functions on an MFP, it does include functions that users need on a day-to-day basis, such as copy, fax, e-mail, and scan.
Open the user's default Web browser. From the Web browser, paste the following URL into the address field: http://127.0.0.1/cgi‑bin/direct/printer/prtapp/apps/LexmarkAccessibilitySolut Replace the IP address in the above URL with the IP address or DNS name of an MFP running the Lexmark Accessibility Solution. Press Enter.
Double‑clicking the shortcut will open the Home page of the Lexmark Accessibility Solution in the user's default Web browser. Note: If users will access more than one MFP running the Lexmark Accessibility Solution, they will need only one copy of the LAS‑Win‑Utility.exe file saved in the C:\Lexmark directory on their computers. To add another MFP running the Lexmark Accessibility Solution, simply follow the steps above, specifying the IP or DNS address for the MFP and giving a different descriptive name for the desktop shortcut.
