Please install the TFTP-server, create a top-level directory which shall be configured in the TFTP-server. In this

directory create a subdirectory and name it tftpboot. Copy both rescue files to the tftpboot directory.

Next step is to accordingly configure your DHCP-server. It is important to configure the IP-address of the TFTP-

server (DHCP option 66 Boot Server Host name and DHCP option 67 Boot File Name). Do not enter any name; it is

enough to provide the according text-field.

If all requirements are met you might start a THINTUNE TC and instantaneously press the ESC key. You will be

prompted to enter the desired mode which in this case is the rescue- mode. THINTUNE will be issued an IP by its
