6.6 SnapIn´s
Basically all THINTUNE software such like the local OS THINTUNE OS, as well as Client-software and tools is stored
in the THINTUNE´s ROM. Of course THINTUNE OS continuously is improved. Especially in large customer projects
special features are required. Since the space in the terminal's memory is very limited THINTUNE can be operated
with SnapIn´s instead. SnapIn´s are small applications which can be loaded from a Web-server into the THINTUNE.
After having setup the loaded SnapIn it might be launched by clicking onto the yellow arrow. Be notified that in
contrast to Rexec snap-in´s locally will be executed! The according application is loaded into the THINTUNE memory
any time THINTUNE is booted or started.
