Now either configure the terminal emulation or the Telnet Client. To be independent from the IP-address of the

10.5 Rescue System

All THINTUNE Thin Clients are capable of an internal rescue system which enables you to still operate your
THINTUNE TC even if the downloaded firmware is corrupted. Corruption at firmware basically will happen whenever
a terminal is powered off during upgrade process.
THINTUNE OS which is the THINTUNE OS basically will be loaded by a bootloader at time of start up. If corrupted
firmware is detected the bootloader will take care to start the rescue system from a TFTP Server. To use the rescue
system please make sure to meet following requirements.
DHCP Server
TFTP Server
Rescue Files
Firmwareserver
The TFTP-server can be requested at support@esesix.com. The Firmwareserver can be downloaded at
www.thintune.de. The DHCP-server is included in Windows Server OS.
