7.6.3 PPTP Connections

PPTP connections basically are VPN connections and offer you to establish secure connections using for
example a Windows 2000 server. To use encrypted connectivity you in any case need to specify VPN in the
"Connect via" menu. In Austria PPTP connections are used for DSL lines. This is supported with THINTUNE.

This option lets you create special login scripts for interaction with a
RAS-Server during login. For example this is to directly log into the
shell of a Unix host or to let you start a PPP session via command-line.

Lets you define if a connection is initialized whenever appTHINTUNEble (auto

his session automatically. If no data are entered the user will be prompted to
enter his login data.
