5.5.1 General Settings

The built-in RDP-client offers you lots of options:
Windows alert sound Sound-based warnings are issued by the terminal
Motion events
Desktop cache
Bitmap compression
Encryption
Private Color Map
Transmit Hostname
Default Window Size Lets you specify the window size for RDP-sessions.

This option is to display mouse movements but not to transfer them to the
host. Mouse positions are not sent to the host before you click with your
mouse. This feature basically makes the user feel to have a better
performance. However, mouse-sensitive buttons are not activated with this
feature enabled.
Enables THINTUNE to cache bitmap files.
The RDP protocol increases bitmap transfers by data-compression. This
mechanism should be used within networks with low bandwidths such as
remote connections. Enabling this option lets you use bitmap compression.
Activation of the checkbox disables encrypted communication
This option is for optimization purposes when using more than 256 colours
with THINTUNE.
Determines if the hostname is included in the RDP data stream. If this option is
disabled the MAC-address will be used instead.
