Creating New Policies

A Network Sensor policy is composed of modules, each of which provides the parameters to
define a virtual sensor's behavior relative to a logical grouping of sensor tasks. You create a new
policy by adding the desired modules from the list of master modules provided by Enterasys, and
then configuring the module parameters.
To create a new policy:
1.
Click the Network Policy View icon, and then the Network Policies tab.
2.
In the tree, right-click Custom Policies, and select Add Network Policy.
The Network Policy Configuration window appears.
