Configuring Port Macros
The Add Port Information dialog box appears.

What type of port do you want to add?
Port
Direction

Select the type of port you want to add to the macro

Specify the port number or range of port numbers.

Specify the direction of the traffic:

Click OK when done.
The port definitions are added to the Port Macro Information table for the macro being
configured.
To remove a macro from the list of port macros, select the macro name and click the Remove
button under the list of port macros.
To edit an existing macro, select the macro name in the Port Macros list, then select a row in the
Port Macro Information table. Click the Edit or Remove button under the table.

Description
The type of port you want to add to the macro:
• Port — to add a single port
• Port Range — to add a port range, by specifying the low and
high port numbers
• Not Port — to specify a port that is not to be considered
• Not Port Range — to specify a port range that is not to be
considered
Port number or range of port numbers
The direction of traffic:
• any — any direction
• toward — toward the protected network
• from — from the protected network
• internal — source and destination within the protected network
• external — source and destination outside the protected
network
