3. On the Ultra3 disk drive module, press the blue latch in and pull the lever
out as far as it can go as shown in Figure 2-3. Pulling open the lever
retracts the locking tab on the side of the disk drive module. Be careful not
to use extreme force when pulling the lever.

4. Slide the Ultra3 disk drive module slowly into the drive location until it
stops. In some systems, drives are inserted horizontally (Figure 2-4); and in
other systems, drives are inserted vertically (Figure 2-5).
Be careful of the light pipes as you insert the drive. The light pipes are
fragile.
CAUTION
You must insert the drive slowly and gently. The connector is
designed with some long pins that must make contact before
the short pins. If the disk drive module is inserted too quickly,
the short pins make contact too quickly after the long pins.
The in-rush current can cause the power supply to shut down.
5. Press the lever in, until you hear the latch click into place.
