Note: When you choose "Service Type" as "Client", following options
will not be configurable, which means the parameters will be determined
automatically by the server side.
"Enable Rate Adaption", "Transfer Max Rate", "Transfer Min Rate" and
"Standard Mode" will be only configurable when you choose "Server"
mode.

4. Point-to-point scenarios

Note: It is also compatible with G.SHDSL 2.3Mbps application when we
connect it with P-793H,P-792H or P-791R.
5. What is the checklist for making a point-to-point connection over
P-791R v2?
To establish a point-to-point connection, one of the ZyXEL Devices becomes
the server (instead of the ISP). The server controls some of the attributes of
the DSL connection, such as the transfer rate and the DSL operational mode.
Otherwise, there is no difference between the server and the client. Either one
can initiate the point-to-point connection
(1) Click Network > WAN > Internet Connection
(2) Configure the VPI, VCI, Multiplexing, and Encapsulation fields for the
point-to-point connection. In the Encapsulation field, select either RFC
1483 or ENET ENCAP.
(3) Scroll down to the Service Type section. The following screen appears.
