Timer recording using pro-
gram timer
Use the following procedure to record a ra-
dio (TUNER) broadcasting at the designated
period of time.

Perform steps 2 to 6 of
"Timer playback using pro-
gram timer" (page 47).

Press the VOLUME/
UP ( ) or DOWN ( ) key

so that "REC" is displayed,
then press the SET/DEMO key.

Press the VOLUME/
UP ( ) or DOWN ( ) key

to select the preset station
number to be recorded, then
press the SET/DEMO key.

Press the TIMER key on the
remote repeatedly so that the
program number to be ex-
ecuted ("PROG.1" or "PROG.2"
is lit.

Press the POWER
put the unit in the STANDBY
mode.
When the timer program is activated and
the unit enters the STANDBY mode, the
STANDBY/TIMER indicator lights in green.
When the set ON time comes, the timer
program is executed and recording starts.
