Wireless LAN Adapter Product Reference Guide
Use the tools provided by Windows 2000 to
diagnose problems.
• The workstation cannot associate to the
®
Intel PRO/Wireless 2011 LAN access point.
– Verify the adapter ESSID matches the ESSID
of the access point. Refer to the Configuration
section of this document for details.
• Degraded performance from the Intel
PRO/Wireless 2011 LAN adapter is detected.
– Verify a secure antenna connection on the
PC Card.
– Verify the antennas remain attached to the
PC Card if
• Nonfunctioning adapter LEDs.
– Verify that the adapter ESSID matches the
ESSID of the access point.
Diversity is selected.
