ProSafe Dual Band Wireless Access Point WAG302 Reference Manual (802.11a/g)
The Advanced Wireless Settings menu is used to configure the following:
•
Wi-Fi Multimedia Support (WMM). Wireless Multimedia (WMM) is a subset of the
802.11e standard. WMM allows wireless traffic to have a range of priorities, depending on the
type of data. Time-dependent information, such as video or audio, has a higher priority than
normal traffic. For WMM to function correctly, Wireless clients must also support WMM.
•
Wireless LAN Parameters. The default advanced wireless LAN parameter settings usually
work well. If you want the wireless access point to operate in SuperA mode (for 11a) or
SuperG mode (for 11b/g), use this feature.
To configure Advanced Wireless Settings:
1. From the main menu under Advanced, Select Advanced Wireless Settings 11a or Advanced
Wireless Settings 11b/g. The Advanced Wireless Settings screen you selected will display,

appropriate information in the fields described below:
•
