Changing the Auto Attendant Password
The default intercom number for the Auto Attendant is 209 and the default password is 209.
To change the Auto Attendant password:
1. Open an intercom and dial 209.
2. Enter the Auto Attendant password followed by the # sign.
3. When prompted, select option 3, "Change Auto Attendant password."
Resetting the Auto Attendant Password to the Default
To reset the Auto Attendant password to the default (209):
1. Click Settings in the Action Index window or on the Site tab.
2. In Edit mode, click Reset Auto Attendant Password. Your change will take effect
immediately. You do not need to press Commit.
Enabling Access to the Auto Attendant
You can enable access to the After Hours feature button so that a user can manually control
the after hours greeting and record greetings for the Auto Attendant. By default, this feature
is not available to users.
To enable access to the Auto Attendant:
1. Click Button Assignments on the Actions Index or on the Phone tab.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the list of users, find the user for which you want to allow access to the Auto Attendant
greetings. This setting also allows the user to turn the after hours greeting on and off.
4. Click Commit. The user's phone needs to restart to make the change take effect. To restart
the affected phones immediately, click Commit, Changes Pending and Restart Phone.
Otherwise, the phones will automatically restart during the next scheduled maintenance
window.
