Administering the Phones

These sections help you administer the phones on the Linksys One network:
• "Viewing the Software Version Running on the Phone"
• "Restarting a Phone"
• "Restarting Multiple Phones"

Viewing the Software Version Running on the Phone

The software version running on the phone is the same as the software version running on
the Services Router. You can view it on the SVR3000 tab in the Customer Support interface
or by pressing the Tasks > Button Layout menu on any phone on the Linksys One network.

Restarting a Phone

You can restart a phone using the Customer Support Interface or the CPE Adminstration
Editor as follows:
From the Customer Support Interface:
1. Click the Devices tab.
2. In the list of devices, find the phone that you want to restart.
3. Click Restart CP. The phone will immediately restart.
From the Administration Editor:
1. Open the window where you want to make changes. See "How do I change a setting?"
section on page 75.
2. Click Edit and make the desired changes to the phone configuration.
3. Click Changes Pending.
4. Click the Restart Phone button to immediately restart the phone and implement the
changes. The user's phone will briefly reboot while the changes take effect.
